APPLICATIONS OF DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEMS BY TEACHER UNION NEGOTIATORS
MARIAN M. EXTEJT AND MARC P. LYNN
AbstractThe purpose of this research was to examine the use of decision support systems and information technology in collective bargaining activities by teacher union negotiators. In addition to software use and data sources, concerns and attitudes toward the use of computers were explored. It was found that the majority of union negotiators use computers in preparation for, and conduct of, negotiations. However, applications of advanced technology are limited.
